The numbers back it up. Council approved more than $117 million in development heading into the year, and the Queensland Government has serious money on the table for housing, the Mackay Hospital expansion, the police precinct upgrade, and Harrup Park's 2032 Olympics works. Throw in a major renewable energy storage project in our hinterland and you've got an economy pulling in jobs, families and demand for quality homes.
What does that mean on the ground? Mackay's median house price has climbed past $740,000, approvals are tracking up again, and the better suburbs — Northern Beaches, Eimeo, Ooralea, Beaconsfield and Mount Pleasant — are filling up faster than most folks reckon. If you've got a block or you're hunting for one, getting your build sorted sooner rather than later is the smart play.
Here's where I come in. As a custom builder sitting between the high-end architectural mob and the cookie-cutter project home builders, I do the bit folks tell me they can't find anywhere else — a properly personalised build, run by the bloke whose name's on the door. Through the INH franchise I've got national buying power and systems behind me, but the design, the decisions and the day-to-day, you're dealing with me.
As your local Mackay builder and home builder, my job is to walk the journey with you from first sketch to handover. Head to inh.com.au/mackay or give me a bell to get the conversation started.
