As Murray shares, “My favourite part of the house is how the outside comes into the house.” Large openings and considered design choices allow the natural beauty of the valley to become part of everyday living.

The property itself holds personal meaning. “As a kid, me and my sisters would race our horses up this hill and this was the finish line,” Murray recalls. Being able to now look out across that same landscape from their home adds a layer of significance that goes beyond the build itself.

Soft whites and greys in the kitchen mirror the surrounding tones of the valley, while subtle greens in the bathrooms tie the interiors back to the natural setting outside.
