Built-in baths have their advantages for example, no cleaning or losing your children’s toys behind them, but the bath will be installed earlier on in the build stages as well as having to be waterproofed around the edges causing more risk later.
However, although a free-standing bath may make cleaning and tidying a slightly bigger task; they give your bathroom or en suite ‘The Wow Factor’ when you walk in. Free standing baths are installed right at the end of the build stage, meaning no need to waterproof around the sides; great for double story homes with up stair bathrooms.
