About the role
We are seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to join our award-winning team at Integrity New Homes Geraldton. As an apprentice, you will play a crucial role in the construction of high-quality timber framed residential properties in the Geraldton area.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilising your carpentry skills to contribute to the success of our growing company.
What you'll be doing
- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, installing doors and windows, cladding and fixout. Read and interpret, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient execution of tasks
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks to a high standard
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate the completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members as required
What we're looking for
- Evidence of an aptitude for trade based work and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and the ability to work from plans and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all relevant health and safety protocols
- A drivers licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required with your own tools
